Green Buildings Integrated into the Local Cultural Environment:Reflections on the Haikou Citizen Visitor Center Landscape Design

海口市民游客中心项目从海口骑楼老街中获取灵感,运用当地的自然和人文元素,实现了建筑空间与园林艺术的融合,给观赏者带来美的享受。在景观设计中,该项目坚持"人与建筑和谐共处、自然与人文交融、历史与现代对话"的初心,遵循打造品牌、人性化、生态化、可持续发展的原则,充分发挥植物的生态效益,提升景观品质,是一座自然神奇与人工精巧完美结合的理想山水园林作品。

The Haikou Citizen Visitor Center took inspiration from Qilou,the old street in Haikou,and applied numerous of Hainan’s natural and cultural elements in the design.The work successfully combined the beauty of architectural space and garden art,while bringing visual and beautiful enjoyment to the visitors.In the aspect of landscape design,this project fully followed the philosophy of returning to nature,respecting local culture,deeply practicing the harmonious coexistence of humans and architecture,the integration of nature and humanities,and the connection between history and modernity.Furthermore,it also achieved the principles of brand buildings,humanization,ecology,and sustainable development,having impressed effects on ecological benefits,and improving the overall quality of the landscape.The design team created an ideal landscape work that including both natural magic and perfect artificial landscape.
