The Influence of Mobile Phone Addiction on College Students’Prospective Memory

为考察手机成瘾对前瞻记忆的影响,通过手机成瘾倾向量表筛查出20名手机成瘾大学生和24名非手机成瘾大学生,采用线索与意向低关联前瞻记忆任务考察手机成瘾组与非手机成瘾组在前瞻记忆成绩、前瞻成分成绩及回溯成分成绩上的差别.结果发现手机成瘾组的前瞻记忆成绩、回溯成分成绩显著低于非手机成瘾组,而前瞻成分成绩两组没有差异.进一步回归分析发现,手机成瘾能显著负向预测大学生的前瞻记忆,且手机成瘾对回溯成分的预测作用显著,对前瞻成分的预测作用不显著.因此,手机成瘾会影响大学生的前瞻记忆,且主要通过影响回溯成分,而造成前瞻记忆的失败.

To investigate the effect of mobile phone addiction on prospective memory.A screening research by use of the mobile addiction tendency scale finds out 20 mobile-phone addicted college students and 24 non-mobile-phone addicted college students.The differences in prospective memory performance,prospective component performance and retrospective component performance between the mobile phone addicts and non-mobile phone addicts were investigated by the prospective memory task with low correlation of cue and intention.The results showed that the performance in terms of prospective memory and retrospective component in the mobile phone addicted group were significantly lower than those in the non-mobile phone addicted group,while with regard to the prospective component performance,no difference was found between the two groups.Further regression analysis revealed that mobile phone addiction can significantly and negatively predict the prospective memory of college students,and mobile phone addiction can significantly predict the retrospective component,yet the predictive effect on the prospective component is not striking.Therefore,mobile phone addiction can affect college students’prospective memory,and it will lead to the failure of prospective memory primarily via the influence of the retrospective components.
