In order to explore the relationship between social adaptation, stress perception, social network immersion experience and social network use.2074 students were investigated with Social Adaptation Scale,Stress Perception Scale,Social Network Immersion Experience Questionnaire and Social Media Use Assessment.Questionnaire.The results showed that:There were significant negative correlations between social adaptation and stress perception, social network immersion experience and social network overuse, and there were significant positive correlations between stress perception, social network immersion experience and social network overuse.Social adaptation not only directly affected adolescents’social network overuse, but also indirectly affected adolescents through two paths:The mediating role of social networking immersion experience and the chain mediating role of stress perception and social networking immersion experience. Therefore, the relationship between social adaptation and adolescent social network overuse is influenced by the independent mediation of social network immersion experience and the co-mediation of stress perception and social network immersion experience.
