抗日战争时期高等工程教育的发展——以西南联合大学工学院为例的考察

The Development of Higher Engineering Education During the Anti-Japanese War:A Case Study of Southwest United University

抗日战争时期,高等工程教育在夹缝中谋发展,西南联合大学工学院是这一时期培养工程技术人才的主要院系,其办学模式具有如下特点:课程设置注重实用性和创新性,注重实践教学,重视教科书的编著。由于条件受限,西南联合大学工学院在抗战期间发展缓慢,但其办学模式对当今我国高等工程教育的改革和发展仍有着重要的启示作用,高等工程教育应培养以通识为基础的"专才",加强工程训练和实践教学,以适应国家和社会发展需要。

During the period of Anti-Japanese War,higher engineering education was developing in the"cracks"of the war.The College of Technology of Southwest United University was the main department to train engineering talents in this period.Its mode of running a school has the following characteristics:the curriculum pays attention to practicality and innovation,practical teaching and textbook compilation.Due to the limited conditions,the College of Technology of Southwest United University developed slowly during the Anti-Japanese War,but its mode of running school still has an important enlightenment to the reform and development of higher engineering education in our country.Higher engineering education should cultivate experts based on general knowledge,strengthen engineering training and practical teaching,and meet the needs of national and social development.
