Pigging is an important link to ensure the normal production and operation of oil and gas pipelines from the construction to the pipeline operation until the pipeline is stopped,and the Pig is an important tool to realize this guarantee function.This paper introduces the pigging technology of oil and gas pipeline from the aspects of Pigging principle,Pigging classification,Pigging positioning method and Pigging technology application.
