Follow-up reading is a learning activity that combines reading and writing on the basis of reading comprehension.After the core literacy was put forward,reading and follow-up writing as a good method to improve students'comprehensive qualities also attracted the attention of teachers.The article takes high school English teaching as the theme,briefly describes the significance of the core literacy reading and follow-up writing teaching,and makes a preliminary study on how to implement the core literacy and carry out the reading and follow-up writing teaching,hoping to help high school English teaching.
