面向测绘工程专业的双语教学模式探索——以遥感原理与应用课程为例

Exploration of Bilingual Teaching Model for Geomatics Engineering:Taking the Course on Basics and Applications of Remote Sensing as an Example

国际化是高校提升综合实力,建设“一流大学”的必要手段,本科生课程的双语教学,是高校国际化建设、培养具有国际视野、学习能力、创新能力的高水平专业人才主要途径之一。测绘工程专业的培养要求是立足于对地观测与卫星导航等国家重大需求以及现代测绘发展趋势,遥感原理与应用是测绘工程专业本科生核心专业课,旨在培养实践中灵活运用所学知识,解决遥感技术应用中的复杂工程问题,具有国际竞争力的复合型人才。因此双语课程的教学改革对于测绘工程专业本科生培养具有重要的意义,通过教材选择、任课教师国际化以及教学手段和方法的改革三个方面,对该门课程双语教学模式进行探索和讨论。

Internationalization in undergraduate education is critical for universities to enhance competitiveness of our students and develop top-rank university.Bilingual teaching of undergraduate courses is a main measure for universities to develop internationalization and cultivate high-level students with international horizon,active learning and innovation ability.The training requirements of geomatics engineering major are based on the major national needs such as earth observation and satellite navigation and the development trend of modern geomatics.As a fundamental and core course for students of geomatics engineering major,Basics and Applications of Remote Sensing aims to cultivate students’ability to apply knowledge practically,solve complex real engineering problems in remote sensing technology appliccation,and to become comprehensive talents with an international view.Therefore,the teaching and reform of bilingual courses are important for the cultivation of undergraduates majoring in geomatics engineering.This article explores and discusses the bilingual teaching model of the course through three aspects:selection of teaching materials,internationalization of teachers,and reform of teaching methods.
