农科英语阅读与写作教学课程的现状及对策

摘要 农科英语阅读与写作是涉农高校农学类专业选修课程之一,可扩宽学生专业知识面、增强外文专业文献的阅读与写作以及国际交流的能力。结合教学实践和相关研究,提出了农科英语阅读与写作教学中存在的学生英语基础参差不齐、教学师资水平有待提高、教学方法有待创新、课程考核体系有待完善等问题。笔者认为应从加强学生外语学习能力、强化专业外语师资力量、推动课程教学改革、完善课程综合评价体系等方面入手,提高农科英语阅读与写作课程的教学质量,培养适应新形势要求的农业人才。 Agricultural English Reading and Writing is one of the elective courses for agricultural majors in agricultural colleges and universities,which can broaden the students’professional knowledge and enhance the ability of reading,writing and international communication of foreign language professional literature.Combined with teaching practice and related research,the problems of uneven English foundations of students in Agricultural English Reading and Writing,the level of teaching teachers to be improved,the teaching methods to be innovated,and the curriculum assessment system to be improved are discussed.The author believes that we should improve the teaching quality of Agricultural English Reading and Writing from the aspects of strengthening students’foreign language learning ability,strengthening professional foreign language teachers’quality,promoting curriculum teaching reform,and improving the comprehensive curriculum evaluation system,and cultivate agricultural talents according to the requirements of the new period.
