加强重点领域中日双边合作面临的新机遇

New Opportunities for Strengthening Sino-Japanese Bilateral Cooperation in Key Areas

2018年11月12日至14日,笔者应邀访问日本东京,参加第十一届中日关系研讨会,与来自两国各界的代表围绕东北亚局势、世界贸易、中日关系等三大议题开展对话和交流。在“世界贸易”会议单元的讨论中,双方代表在当前全球经济形势、美国贸易保护主义的危害和加强中日双边经济合作的重要性等议题上达成了许多共识。中方代表在主旨发言中指出,中日双方的关切,已经超越了传统意义上的双边范畴,涉及多项区域和多边合作议题,充分显示了中国和日本两个经济大国之间加强合作所具有的地区和全球意义。今后,中日应在共同反对单边主义和贸易保护主义、携手推动东亚地区经济一体化进程、开创“一带一路”与日本国际合作战略对接背景下,贸易投资和第三方市场合作新局面等重点领域进一步加强双边合作。

From November 12 to 14,2018,the author was invited to visit Tokyo,Japan,to participate in the 11th China-Japan Relations Seminar,and make dialogue and exchanges with representatives from various circles of the two countries on major topics such as the situation in Northeast Asia,world trade,Sino-Japan relations,etc.During the discussion in the“World Trade”conference unit,representatives of the two sides reached many consensuses on the current global economic situation,the harm of US trade protectionism,and the importance of strengthening Sino-Japanese bilateral economic cooperation.In the keynote speech,the Chinese representative pointed out that the concerns of China and Japan have gone beyond the traditional bilateral scope and involved a number of regional and multilateral cooperation issues,which fully demonstrates the regional and global significance of enhanced cooperation between China and Japan,the two economic powers.In the future,China and Japan should further strengthen bilateral cooperation on jointly oppositing unilateralism and trade protectionism,jointly promoting the process of economic integration in East Asia,and creating a new situation of trade and investment and third-party market cooperation in the context of docking of the Belt and Road Initiative and Japan s international cooperation strategy.
