The Trace and Future Development of Chinese Science Fiction Films

本文对中国科幻片的创作轨迹进行史论结合的描述,同时探究中国电影早期、中期科幻片发展迟缓的原因:由于古代封建文化的阻滞和现实主义观念的影响,加上本土电影工业高科技数字特效技术在相当长一段时间内不如人意,类型观念被普遍接受时间较晚,造成了电影产业对科幻片生产的忽视。此外,为了促进中国科幻电影生产的繁荣,本文从国家科技创新战略的高度对中国科幻电影发展提出了一些思路和建议。

Utilizing historical and theoretical methods,this essay analyzes and elucidates the development of science fiction films in China through comparing Chinese science fiction films with influential overseas examples from the same era.Focused on the underlying causes for the intermittent development of science fiction films in China in the 20 th century,the es-say examines the impact of the traditional feudal culture and social realism on the production of science fiction films,in tandem with the consequence of the comparatively late application of special and digital effects in the film industry,specifically for science fiction film produc-tions.Also acknowledging that science fiction films have only recently been adopted as a"genre",the essay provides an overview on how and why science fiction films have largely been neglected by Chinese filmmakers.Highlighting the technological innovations of con-temporary china,the essay puts forward strategic propositions for the sustained development and future prosperity of science fiction films in China.
