Longdong folk songs are the traditional folk songs spread in Qingyang area and part of Pingliang city in the east of Gansu Province,which are also known as Qingyang folk songs.From Longdong folk songs,we can see the far-reaching historical development and the profound social life in this area.With the increasing importance of traditional music in China's music field,especially after the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council issued“The Opinions on Carrying out the Project of Inheriting and Developing Fine Traditional Chinese Culture”,as a local resource,folk music has been paid more and more attention from the central government to the local government.
