摘要
结构网格具有边界层模拟准确、计算效率高等优势,在当前的计算流体力学(CFD)研究和工程应用中被大量采用。然而,复杂外形的结构网格生成非常耗时,通常需要在图形化软件上借助频繁的交互操作来实现,对CFD研究和应用产生了重要影响。针对此问题,提出了附面层推进、网格块自动补齐、网格分布快速调整、破损数模网格优化等网格生成加速技术。依托国家数值风洞工程,研发出一款通用型结构网格生成软件——网格之星(NNW-GridStar)。与主流商业软件Pointwise相比,网格之星的网格生成速度更快。经过大量复杂算例验证,网格之星满足工程应用要求。自软件发布以来,已有80余家科研院所下载使用,为实际工程任务提供了重要的支撑作用。
With the advantages of accurate boundary-layer simulation and high computational efficiency,structured grid is widely used in the Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)research and engineering applications.However,the grid generation of complex model is very time-consuming,which usually requires frequent interactive operations in the graphic software.To solve this problem,we propose acceleration techniques in grid generation,such as boundary-layer generation,rapid block assembly,rapid adjustment of grid distribution and grid optimization of dirty model.Relying on National Numerical Windtunnel(NNW)project,we develop NNW-GridStar,a general structured grid generation software.This software supports the automatic generation of boundary-layer gird and has great advantages in the generation acceleration of volume grid,greatly improving the generation efficiency.Compared with Pointwise,NNW-GridStar generates grid faster and the quality of the generated grid is equivalent.A large number of complex cases show that NNW-GridStar meets the requirements of engineering applications.Since the release,this software has been downloaded and used by more than 80 scientific research institutes,greatly supporting the practical engineering tasks.
