张岱年先生在研究中国传统文化过程中,不仅从中华文化典籍发掘“和”文化的优秀传统,而且还发展了中华“和”文化,创造性地提出“兼和”理念,这可以说是对中华传统“和”文化的创造性转化和创新性发展。张岱年先生对中华“和”文化的传承创新,对于社会主义中国新道德的建设、中华民族精神的弘扬与培育、社会主义中国新文化的建设、人与自然和谐共生关系的建构以及社会主义和谐社会的建立等,都具有显著的时代价值。

In the process of studying Chinese traditional culture,Mr.Zhang Dainian not only explored the excellent tradition of“he”culture from Chinese cultural classics,but also developed Chinese“he”culture.He creatively put forward the concept of“harmony”,which can be said to be a creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese traditional“he”culture.Mr.Zhang Dainian’s inheritance and innovation of Chinese“he”culture has significant value of the times for the construction of socialist Chinese new morality,the promotion and cultivation of Chinese national spirit,the construction of socialist Chinese new culture,the construction of harmonious symbiotic relationship between man and nature,and the construction of socialist harmonious society.
