Sports game is a very diverse and interesting teaching method in the modern teaching process.The application in the teaching process can reduce the sports injury of students,improve the enthusiasm of students’ participation in sports class,and better show the team spirit.Therefore,this paper further clarifies the importance of sports games in middle school sports teaching,and puts forward feasible application strategies to promote the innovation and development of middle school sports teaching in China.
