滇缅公路与南侨机工研究的几个问题

滇缅公路是中国抗日战争的输血管、生命线。有关滇缅公路的研究已取得不少的成绩,但还有拓展的空间。滇缅公路修筑时间一般说为9个月,实际上延续了15年。参与修路的民工,有的说20万,实际上可能超过100万。惠通桥之战,其意义不可小觑。“南侨机工”回国服务抗战,是一段辉煌而悲壮的历史。南侨机工回国一般说为3200人,扣除提前返回的,实约3100人。抗战胜利后计算约有2/4牺牲,1/4返回,1/4滞留国内。在滇缅公路上南侨机工承担的运输量可能占总运输量的一半。1942年后南侨机工流落及其生活状况,仍待研究。滇缅公路是抗日战争史上的奇葩,南侨机工又为这个奇葩锦上添花。

The Burma Road is not only the blood transfusion tube of the War of Resistance against Japan,but also its lifeline.As far as the research on the Burma Road is concerned,good results have been achieved,but there is still a lot of room for promotion.The Burma Road is generally scheduled for 9 months,but it actually took 15 years to complete.Some of the workers who participated in the road construction said that the cost was 200 thousand yuan,but the actual cost may be more than 1 million yuan.Its significance to Huitong bridge war can not be underestimated.It is a glorious and tragic history that the“The Nanyang(Southeast Asia)Chinese Drivers and Mechanics Corps”returned home to support the War of Resistance against Japan.As for the number of returned the Nanyang(Southeast Asia)Chinese Drivers and Mechanics Corps from South China,it is generally 3,200,after deducting those who return in advance,the number is actually about 3,100.After the victory of the War of Resistance against Japan,it was calculated that about Half of them had died,a quarter of them had returned to their original place,and a quarter of them were stuck in the country.For the construction of Burma Road,the transportation volume undertaken by The Nanyang(Southeast Asia)Chinese Drivers and Mechanics Corps accounted for about half of the total transportation volume.After 1942,their whereabouts and living conditions still need further study.The Burma Road is regarded as a special event in the history of the War of Resistance against Japan,and The Nanyang(Southeast Asia)Chinese Drivers and Mechanics Corps add more color to this special event.
