近年来,随着宿州市一系列国际赛事和大型对外交流活动的开展,基于宿州对外交流构建英语志愿服务团队刻不容缓。这不仅给宿州市的学生提供了英语口语交流的平台,而且有助于宿州市各项国际赛事和国际交流活动的顺利开展,同时有效避免了不同国家的地域人群关于语言沟通的障碍问题,更重要的是,对于宿州经济、文化进一步开放以及提升宿州市国际竞争力和影响力具有十分重要的实践意义。大学生英语志愿者是具有较高文化素养和较高道德素质的人群,组建一批以大学生为主的大型赛事会议英语志愿者团队,依托当地高校,那将起到事半功倍的效果。然而,由于志愿工作招募、志愿团队培训、志愿团队组织制度构建、志愿团队等方面问题有待完善,这就导致了构建英语志愿者团队也有一定的局限性。因此,基于宿州市大型国际体育赛事的英语志愿者服务团队构建问题研究具有必要性。
