建党时期李达、李汉俊推进马克思主义中国化的实践集中体现为:宣传马克思主义、推动马克思主义与人民群众运动相结合、参与建党等;他们推进马克思主义中国化的思想集中体现为:驳斥“马克思主义不适合中国国情”的论调、提出运用马克思主义根本解决中国问题、强调马克思学说要与中国国情相结合等。作为早期马克思主义中国化实践的探索者、思想的提出者、主体的培育者,他们推进马克思主义中国化的实践和思想既有相似之处,又各有侧重和特点。
