知觉生成主义与双视觉系统理论

The Enactive Theory and The Two Visual System Theory

近年来,认知科学领域生成主义理论的兴起引导了关于知觉研究的"行动转向",该进路主张利用行动概念来理解知觉,认为行动应当成为理解知觉的新范式。这一进路拥有诸多优点,但也遭受到一些反驳,其中古德尔与米尔勒的双视觉系统理论似乎从经验科学的角度否证了生成主义主张。本文试图通过梳理两种理论之间的争论,引导我们重新审视知觉与行动的关系,并主张生成主义理论在适度修正其"行动"概念后,可以和双视觉系统理论兼容,并且能够更好地解释我们的知觉经验。

In recent years,the rise of enactivism in the field of cognitive science has led to the "action" turn of perception research,which advocates using the notion of action to understand perception and believes that action should become a new paradigm for understanding perception.This approach has many advantages,but it has also suffered some rebuttals.Goodale and Milners’ theory of double vision system seems to veto the enactivism’s claims from the perspective of empirical science.This paper attempts to re-examine the relationship between perception and action by combing the debate between the two theories,and argues that enactivism can be compatible with the theory of double vision system and can be better to explain our perceptual experience after moderately correcting its conception of "action".
