Research on Building Guangzhou into a World-class City with Unique Characteristics and Distinctive Culture

在中国特色社会主义新时代,广州建设独具特色文化鲜明的国际一流城市,应该在提高民众文化满意度、发挥城市文化独特性和增强国际文化竞争力等三个维度达到国际一流水平。为实现这一目标,广州需要牢牢把握共建人文湾区的机遇,着力成为文化传承中心地、文化共享中心地、文化交流中心地,并推动广州的文化综合实力在公共文化、会展文化和创意文化等三方面达到国际一流,使其成为建设粤港澳大湾区发展核心引擎。

In the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,Guangzhou is building a world-class city with unique characteristics and distinctive culture,from three dimensions including improving people’s cultural satisfaction,giving full play to the city’s cultural uniqueness and enhancing international cultural competitiveness.To achieve this goal,Guangzhou should firmly grasp the opportunity of building a humanistic bay area,and strive to become a cultural heritage center,a cultural sharing center and a cultural exchange center.Guangzhou should also promote its comprehensive cultural strength in three areas including public culture,exhibition culture and creative culture,making the city a core engine for the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
