Historical Origins of Eʤini Tribe of Yugur

保留至1958年的部落是裕固族内部文化多样性的载体,其中鄂金尼部落的名称与13世纪蒙古黄金家族的统治密切相关,直接源于蒙古豳王家族统治撒里畏兀儿地区。"鄂金尼"在东部裕固语中为"君主的",作为部落名用于指称世袭头目源于蒙古黄金家族,具有统治合法性。清康熙年间裕固族世袭大头目被政府安置到祁连山以北梨园营管辖,遗留在祁连山以南留守故地的部落便承袭了这一名称。

Tribes are the most important organization in Yugur society before 1958.The organization was also the reason of Yugur’s cultural diversity.The name of Eʤini tribe means much to Yugur’s history.It comes from the Mongolia Golden Family.Genghis Khan’s descendants ruled Yugur’s ancestor Sarig Uigur in the 13th century.Eʤini is historical remains of Mogolian Prince Bin,and the name of the hereditary chief of Sarig Uigur’s tribes.After Qing government arranged Sarig Uigur’s biggest tribe move to the north of Qilian mountain,a part of the tribe stayed in old haunt and continue to use the honorable name Eʤini,which is full of historic memory.
