"一带一路"对外贸易中的语言服务便利度测量实证研究

An Empirical Study on Measuring Language Services Facilitation in International Trade with the"Belt and Road"Countries

本文测量了中国与"一带一路"沿线国家的语言服务便利度及其对双边贸易的影响。研究结果显示,"一带一路"48个抽样国家中,与中国语言服务便利度最高的国家为新加坡(LSF=0.62),最低的国家为不丹(LSF=0.07);"一带一路"沿线国家各区域的语言服务便利度评级总体偏低,东南亚地区语言服务便利度最高(LSF=0.47),南亚地区语言服务便利度最低(LSF=0.17)。在其他变量不变的情况下,语言服务便利度每提高10%,我国与"一带一路"沿线各国的双边贸易总额就相应增长4.82%,服务贸易额相应增长5.33%,商品贸易额相应增长3.08%。研究结论对我国的语言服务研究、人才培养和产业发展具有一定启示。

This research measures the language services facilitation(LSF)of the " Belt and Road"countries and its impacts on bilateral trade.The results show that among the 48 sampled countries,Singapore is the highest in language service facilitation index(LSF=0.62),while Bhutan is the lowest(LSF=0.07).In general,LSF rating is relatively low in the"Belt and Road"regions,with Southeast Asia the highest(LSF=0.47)and South Asia the lowest(LSF=0.17).With other variables constant,the rise of language service facilitation by 10%will make the volumes of bilateral trade,service trade and commodity trade grow 4.82%,5.33%and 3.08%respectively.Service trade is the most severely affected.These research findings have significant implications for language services studies,talent training and the development of language services industry in China.
