Western market socialism,as a new the oretical form with the combined characteristics of ideological trends of economy,society and socialism,puts forward and demonstrates new socialist modes,theories and viewpoints.From the perspective of theoretical proposition and model construction,it criticizes and surpasses neo-liberalism,traditional socialism and democratic socialism.The contribution of its model construction and theoretical exposition can provide some ideological materials as reference to China’s socialist market economy and"socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics".Therefore,western socialism needs academia to continue to deepen their research on western market socialism.
