Although the Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu is a bibliographic work,it actually elucidates the academic thoughts and theories of the library officials in the form of synopsis.There is something special about the criticism of the references.As Ming Dynasty is a former dynasty,Ming articles are the remnants of the thought of the former dynasty.There are both academic and political implications to the review and evaluation of Ming Dynasty articles.Through the critical discourse of the Ming dynasty articles in The General Catalog of the Four Libraries,we can better understand the structure and significance of its critical theoretical system.
