Discharge permits and environmental impact assessments are both key systems for environmental governance in China.Both can cover the entire life cycle of industrial production projects,and play a synergistic role in the supervision of production activities and environmental governance.This article analyzes the connection between the pollution permit and the EIA system,and explores how to further strengthen the coordination and cooperation between the two,complement each other,and play a more significant role in environmental governance for reference.
