Application of Masquelet technique in repairing bone defects and its research progress

Masquelet技术是治疗骨缺损的一种新方法,该技术通过一期手术生成诱导膜,二期游离植骨,从而修复骨缺损。与其他治疗骨缺损的方法相比,Masquelet技术可操作性强,成功率高,疗效可靠,因而在临床逐步应用于创伤、感染、肿瘤等原因引起的骨缺损。本文对国内外针对Masquelet技术在修复骨缺损的应用和研究进展作一综述,以期待更好的地指导临床应用。

Masquelet technique is a new treatment strategy for bone defects. It repairs bone defects through two stages. In the first stage, the formation of membranes is induced surgically;in the second stage, the defect was filled with autogenous bone graft. Compared with other treatment strategies for bone defects, Masquelet technique is more practical, and has higher success rate and reliability. Therefore, it has been gradually applied to bone defects caused by trauma, infection, tumor, and other reasons. This article reviews the application and progress of Masquelet technology in repairing bone defects around the world, in order to better guide the clinical application.
