The unique thought of Zhunazi’s life philosophy is"the use of the useless", which is also the topmost boundary of self-cultivation in Zhuangzi’s mind, what’s more, the idea of "the use of useless"is based on the clear understanding of the hypocrisy and cruelty of the governor, the of the darkness and danger of the social, of the suffering of life, of the chase of the free spirit and of the holding of personal dignity.The novel point of this paper is that it systematically explains the origin of Zhuangzi’s "the use of the useless", and reveals the profound meaning the view contains.
