The Impact of China's Infrastructure Construction on Enterprise Innovation of Related Countries along the Belt and Road Initiative

研究发现"一带一路"倡议有利于沿线国家建成完善的基础设施,并通过多种影响路径促进该国企业创新。其中,对企业创新的影响可以分为以交通、信息和能源基础设施为代表的直接影响和以外商直接投资、促进贸易便利和创新人才汇聚为主的间接影响。本研究不仅丰富了"一带一路"倡议下中国在沿线国家进行基础设施建设的经济后果研究,还为沿线国家的基础设施建设及企业创新发展提供有益的指导和借鉴。

The sustained and stable economic growth of countries along the Belt and Road Initiative needs to be based on enterprise innovation.Infrastructure construction is crucial to promote enterprise innovation in a country.This paper focuses on the impact of China's infrastructure construction on enterprise innovation of countries along the Belt and Road Initiative.The paper finds that the Belt and Road Initiative significantly contributes to the establishment of more complete infrastructure in the countries along the Belt and Road Initiative,and thus promotes enterprise innovation through a variety of paths.Furthermore,the impact path on the innovation of enterprises can be categorized into direct impact through transportation,information and energy infrastructure,and indirect impact through foreign direct investment,trade facilitation and innovation talent gathering.This study not only enriches the research on the economic consequences of China's infrastructure construction in the Belt and Road Initiative related countries,but also provides useful guidance on the infrastructure construction and innovative development of enterprises of the Belt and Road related countries.
