Summoning from Muse:Meaning Production of Museum’s Public Cultural Space and Urban Memory under the Context of Modernity

博物馆是一个具有历史性、社会性和文化性的公共空间,它是现代城市"空间生产"必不可少的组成部分。而今天,伴随着现代社会发展及物质追求成了具有决定性意义的社会元素,及这一趋势使社会上层建筑和意识形态的文化构成产生了深刻的变化,博物馆则在文物收藏、展示陈列和知识传承的基础上走向了多元化和多层次的空间架构,即以新的价值功能重构了被现代性解构了的文化和记忆。在现代性语境中,博物馆对于城市空间的生产来说,是在以特殊的文化景观和开放的公共场景再生产出作为城市记忆与文明的象征性空间,而作为文化话语的物质存在方式,博物馆在融入人类日常生活的过程中,一方面是在以审美的内容弥合人类物质生活水平与精神生活水平间的断层,另一方面是在为他们提供重新认知世界、认识自己和追溯人类来时之路的历史视角。

Museum is a historical,social and cultural public space,it is an essential part of“space production”in modern city.Today,with the development of modern society and material pursuits have become a decisive social ele⁃ment,and the trend has made profound changes in the cultural composition of social superstructure and ideology,museum has moved towards a diversified and multi-level spatial structure,based on cultural collection,display and knowledge sharing,in which it reconstructs the culture and memory deconstructed by modernity with new value func⁃tion.In the modern context,in term of production of urban space,the museum aims at producing the symbolic space as urban memory and civilization with special cultural spectacle and open public scene,while as existing way of cul⁃tural discourse,in the process of integrating people’s everyday life,museum,on one hand,bridge the gap between people’s material and spiritual living standards with aesthetic content,on the other hand,provide them with a histor⁃ical perspective to re-recognize the world,understand themselves and trace back the way human beings come.
