不同性别比背景的启动对女大学生择偶偏好的影响

Female College Students’Mate Preference Background on Different Sex Ratio

目的:探讨当今女大学生择偶偏好的特点以及这种特点在择偶性别优势或劣势背景中是否会发生变化。方法:采用实验法启动不同的性别比背景,实验1选取160名女大学生,采用图片材料启动不同性别比的背景,实验2另选取93名女大学生,采用文字材料启动不同性别比的背景。结果:两个实验的一致结果表明:①女大学生选择"好爸爸"特质的倾向显著高于选择"好资源"和"好基因"特质的倾向。②相比于女多男少的背景,被试在男多女少的背景下(择偶优势背景)对男性"好基因"特质有更多的偏好,而对"好资源"、"好爸爸"的选择没有显著变化。结论:总体而言,当今女大学生在择偶时更看重"好爸爸"特质,当她们处于择偶性别优势背景时,对未来伴侣"好基因"特质的选择会增多。

Objective:In order to explore the characteristics of female college students’Mate Preference and whether exists differences in the background of gender advantage or disadvantage in mate selection.Methods:In this paper,the experimental method was used to prime the different sex ratio.In experiment 1,160 female college students were selected and used picture materials to prime different sex ratios.In Experiment 2,93 female college students were selected and used text materials to prime different sex ratios.Results:①The tendency of female college students to choose"good father"trait was significantly higher than that of choosing"good resources"and"good genes"trait.②Compared with the background of more women and less men,the subjects in the background of more men than women(the background of mate advantage)had more preference for male"good genes"traits,but no significant changes in the choice of"good resources"and"good fathers".Conclusion:In sum,female college students value the trait of"good father"more when they choose a spouse.When under the background of gender advantage,female college students prefer"good genes"for future partner.
