The hydraulic protection design of oil and gas transmission pipeline plays a very important role in the normal operation of oil and gas transmission pipeline.Different scheme design should be combined with different characteristics of different regions.Only in this way can the safety of oil and gas pipeline operation be fully protected and the damage to ecological environment be reduced.Through the analysis of pipeline hazards,specific measures of hydraulic protection design,development trend and other aspects,this paper discusses the current situation and development trend of hydraulic protection technology for oil and gas transmission pipeline engineering.
