英语专业建设的创新路径与反思——国家级一流专业建设点沈阳师范大学英语专业个案研究

Innovative Approach and Reflection on the Construction of English Major——A Case Study on the Program of the National First-rate Major in Shenyang Normal University

加快国家级一流英语专业建设,培养国家区域需要的卓越英语人才,实现内涵式发展,是新时代我国高等院校英语专业建设面临的新要求。我国高等院校英语专业的建设与发展,在一批国家级一流英语专业建设点获批的背景下,又面临着新的挑战与机遇。拟以沈阳师范大学英语专业建设为例,探讨地方性本科高校英语专业如何在此背景下,思考和创新专业定位及目标、人才培养模式、专业内涵建设、师资队伍建设、质量保障体系建设、毕业生跟踪机制建设等方面,立足专业已有的基础,着力提升教育教学质量,培养新时代创新拔尖英语人才。

It is a new requirement for English major of the Chinese universities in the new era to speed up the construction of the national first-rate major,to fulfil the regional need of cultivating excellent talents of the English language,and to realize the high-quality development of English major.Against the background that a bunch of programs of national first-rate English major have been approved,the construction and development are faced with new challenges and opportunities.By taking the construction of English major in Shenyang Normal University as an example,this paper discusses how English major of local universities considers and innovates the orientation and goals of the major,the mode of talent cultivation,the high-quality construction of the major,the development of the faculty,the establishment of the quality control system,and the construction of system for the follow-up situation of graduates,etc.in such circumstances.Based on the existing foundation,the paper also aims to help improve the teaching quality and cultivate excellent and innovative talents of the English language in the new era.
