Quilting is an ancient and innovative art category favored by contemporary artists.The expression form of quilting art is combined with fashion design,actively absorbing new artistic elements and making innovations,which conforms to the current trend of interdisciplinary application and is also the inevitable trend of the development of modern fashion design profession.By analyzing the characteristics of quilting art,this paper points out the teaching significance and implementation means of quilting art in fashion design specialty,and demonstrates the practical significance of the artistic expression of quilting in the teaching application of fashion design specialty.
