Comparison of SARS-CoV-2 Nucleic Acid Test Results in Different Types of Specimens

目的比较不同类型标本的新型冠状病毒(SARS-CoV-2)核酸检测结果,为SARS-CoV-2核酸检测寻找具有更高检测效率和精度的样本类型。方法回顾性收集2020年2月1日至2020年3月1日在信阳市中心医院就诊治疗的26例新型冠状病毒患者的咽拭子、痰液和粪便标本,采用荧光定量PCR技术,分别进行SARS-CoV-2核酸检测。采用Cochran Q检验对不同类型标本SARS-CoV-2核酸检测结果差异进行统计学分析。结果26例患者咽拭子标本中核酸阳性率为69.23%,痰液标本阳性率为96.15%,粪便标本中阳性率为7.69%。痰液标本SARS-CoV-2核酸阳性检出率高于咽拭子和粪便标本阳性检出率(均P<0.05)。结论对于疑似新型冠状病毒肺炎患者,痰液标本SARS-CoV-2核酸阳性检出率高于咽拭子和粪便标本的阳性率,痰液标本更适用于新型冠状病毒的核酸检测。

Objective To compare the detection results of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)nucleic acid in different types of specimens,and to find samples with higher detection efficiency and accuracy for SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid detection.Methods In this retrospective study,a total of 26 patients with SARS-CoV-2,who were treated at Xinyang Central Hospital from February 1,2020 to March 1,2020 were collected.The pharynx swab,sputum and stool specimens of the 26 patients were tested for SARS-CoV-2 by fluorescent quantitative PCR assay,respectively.Results The detection rates of SARS-CoV-2 from pharynx swab,sputum and stool specimens were 69.23%,96.15% and 7.69%,respectively.The positive rate SARS-CoV-2 acid in sputum samples was higher than that in pharynx swab and stool samples(all P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with suspected corona virus disease 2019,the positive rate SARS-CoV-2 nuclear acid in sputum samples is higher than that in pharynx swabs and fecal samples,and sputum samples are more suitable for nucleic acid detection of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2.
