School rituals are important supplement to the school curriculum.Teachers'design,organization and implementation of school rituals endow the rituals distinct curriculum awareness,and construct and influence the curriculum culture to some extent.The organizational characteristics and operational mechanism of rituals add unique functions in storing cultural memory,cultivating cultural identity and promoting culural inheritance to school rituals.The full play of these functions is conducive to making room for seeking curriculum culture,creating conditions for the development of curriculum culture,and providing power for the regeneration of curriculum culture.Compared with formal.curriculum,school rituals can accommodate and inherit curriculum culture which is difficult to be directly described,thus showing the unique charm of school rituals in curriculum culture.
