城市青年“吸猫”行为的社会学分析

Sociological Analysis of the“ Sucking Cats” Behavior of Urban Youth

“吸猫”是近几年兴起的一种新养宠行为,逐渐成为一种新的生活方式。这一养宠行为发生在城市,主体是青年。通过对城市青年“吸猫”行为的研究发现,城市青年“吸猫”群体具有年轻化、高学历、以女性为主、集中于一线与二线城市等特征,其具体行为表现为现实“吸猫”和虚拟“吸猫”两种形式。城市“吸猫”行为产生的社会背景是社会转型时期社会流动和个体化进程的加快,社会媒体对“吸猫”行为的建构促进了“吸猫”行为的符号化,互联网技术的发展推动了“吸猫”行为的潮流化;另外,“吸猫”行为背后蕴藏着城市“空巢青年”群体试图通过“吸猫”行为来缓解在社会关系网络脱嵌过程中出现的孤独感。

“Sucking cat”behavior is a new pet-raising behavior that has emerged in recent years,and has gradually become a new entertainment method and lifestyle.This kind of petting behavior occurs in the city,and its subject is youth.Through the study of urban young cat sucking behavior,it is found that the urban youth“cat sucking”group has the characteristics of being younger,highly educated,mainly female,and concentrated in the first-tier and second-tier cities,and its specific behavior is manifested in two forms:real cat sucking and virtual cat sucking.The study found that the social background of urban cat-sucking behavior is the acceleration of social mobility and individualization during the period of social transformation,and the construction of cat-sucking behavior by social media promotes the symbolization of cat-sucking behavior.The development of internet technology has promoted the trend of cat-sucking behavior.In addition,behind the cat-sucking behavior,there are also urban empty-nest youth groups trying to use the cat-sucking behavior to alleviate the loneliness in the process of social network de-embedding.
