词人社集唱和由来已久,至晚清宣南词社达到高潮。宣南词社在其中心人物王鹏运的领导下,团结了一批在京任职的官员和进京应试求官的读书人。他们频繁聚会进行社集唱和,创作了大量的词作,在当时的词坛乃至政坛都产生了不小的影响,也给千年词史带来了最后的一抹辉煌。

It has been a longstanding that Ci-poets sing along in a poetry club,and it reached its climax in the late Qing Dynasty.Under the leadership of Wang Pengyun,the Xuannan Ci-poetry united a group of official people serving in Beijing and scholars who were seeking an official position to Beijing.They gathered frequently to sing along,and write a lot of Ci-poems,which had a great influence on the Ci-poetry and politics in the late Qing Dynasty,and also brought the final glory of the one-thousand-year ci-poetry history.
