《思想与时代》月刊与萨顿新人文主义

《思想与时代》月刊是浙江大学在抗战时期内迁到贵州办学时创办的一份学术刊物,办刊主旨与《学衡》一脉相承,但其办刊思想资源更为丰富,最突出的表现就是引入了萨顿新人文主义。萨顿新人文主义包括统一性思想、科学人性化、重视东方思想的巨大价值、对宽容与仁爱的极度需要四个方面。《思想与时代》月刊以萨顿新人文主义为思想资源,以"科学人文化"为办刊宗旨,反对科学主义,坚守人文价值,主张科学与人文结合,与宽容、仁爱结合,使科学人文化,追求科学技术与人文因素的相互渗透与平衡发展。《思想与时代》月刊这一追求很有前瞻性,即便在今天也有极大的启示价值。

The monthly journal Thought and Times is an academic journal founded by scholars of Zhejiang University when they moved to Guizhou during the period of Anti-Japanese War. This journal shares a common pursuit with the Xueheng, but it takes Sarton’s new humanism as its thinking resource. Sarton’s new humanism includes four aspects: unity thought, science has human nature, the great value of oriental thought, and need for tolerance and love. Thought and Times puts forward Humanize Science with Sarto’’s new humanism as its thinking resource, opposes scientism, adheres to humanistic values, advocates the combination of sciences and humanities,combines science with tolerance and benevolence, pursues the mutual penetration and balanced development of science and humanity,which is very forward-looking and has great significance today.
