摘要
由皮克斯动画工作室制作、华裔导演石之予执导的《包宝宝》荣获第92届奥斯卡金像奖最佳动画短片奖。影片以不同于“中国功夫”“中国武侠”式的现代角度,以极具中国特色的食物“包子”为媒介,叙述了一个加拿大中国移民家庭中有关“亲子关系”的故事。该文以西方电影制作背景中的中国文化为出发点,通过对影片中的物态文化元素和精神文化元素进行分析,阐释电影国际化背景下的文化核心价值的构建与表达。
"Bao",produced by Pixar Animation Studios and directed by Domee Shi,won an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film at the 91st Academy Award.Based on the famous Chinese food—steamed bun(baozi),the short presents a modern story about parent-child relationship in a Chinese immigrant family in Canada,which is quite different from those Chinese stories about martial arts.The paper explores the material Chinese cultural elements and spiritual Chinese cultural elements in"Bao"and explains the construction of core cultural value in a film that is produced by Western companies.
