西南大学图书馆藏清光绪刻本《虫荟》考述

A Study on the Collection of Insects Assembly of the Qing Dynasty in Southwest University Library

[目的/意义]西南大学图书馆新近发现清光绪年间刻本《虫荟》(作者方旭),该书是记载动物的重要著作,书中保存有藏书者的印章和笔记。厘清该书版本,解读藏书者笔记,分析不同藏书印章,将有助于我们了解《虫荟》的重要意义。《虫荟》有清光绪十六年刻本、刻鹄斋丛书刻本等版本。[方法/过程]通过不同刻本的比较,考辩西南大学所藏《虫荟》的版本,分析《虫荟》的内容特点、编撰特点及其在文献搜集与编排方面的独特价值。同时,通过对西南大学馆藏《虫荟》中的笔记、印章进行解读,溯源该书的辗转收藏过程。[结果/结论]西南大学所藏《虫荟》从刘君谔私人藏书到大学图书馆藏书,经历多方辗转,这一流转过程对了解刘君谔的个人经历和学术兴趣以及当时的社会历史文化、认识我国晚清民国时期科学类文献的成书和流播等方面都具有重要的参考价值。

[Purpose/significance]An engraved version of Insects Assembly(by Fang Xu)during the Reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty was recently found in Southwest University library.This book is an important work to record animals and contains the seals and notes of the collectors.Clarifying the edition of the book,interpreting the notes of the collectors and analyzing the seals of different collections will help us understand the significance of Insects Assembly.[Method/process]There are two engraved versions of this book,the 16th-year of Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty and the Kehu Zhai Series.Through the comparison of different versions,this paper examines and discusses the version of Insects Assembly in Southwest University,analyzes the content characteristics,compilation characteristics and its unique value in literature collection and arrangement.At the same time,the paper interprets the notes and seals in this book,tracing the source of its tossing and collecting process.[Result/conclusion]Insects Assembly in Southwest University Library was the private collections of Liu Jun’e which must have been experienced through a lot of turns after that.This circulating process has important reference value for understanding Liu June’s personal experience and academic interests as well as the social history and culture at that time;also,it is very helpful to understand the forming and spreading of scientific documents in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China.
