湖南文章总集的开山——论《湖南文征》的编纂特色

On The First Article Collection of Hunan Province:the Compiling Characteristics of the Corpus of Hunan

[目的/意义]《湖南文征》是现存最早的由湘人编纂、所收作者均系湘人的湖湘地方文章总集。准确认识其编纂特色有助于加深对湖湘地域文化与文学的理解。[方法/过程]将《湖南文征》与其他文章总集进行对比,挖掘其成因、内容和体例特色。[结果/结论]《湖南文征》的编纂既渊源于独特的晚清湖湘地域人文学术环境,又根植于编纂者罗汝怀自身的文学素养;它具有众体兼备、推陈出新的特色,既体现在作品的题材、体裁、词采等不同层面,又体现在由这些层面综合而成的文集的总体编排上,涉及文本的主旨与内蕴、文体的形式与风格等多个方面。

[Purpose/significance]The Corpus of Hunan is the first collection of Hunan local articles written by Hunan authors,which was compiled by Hunanese.An accurate understanding of its compiling characteristics would be conducive to deepen the understanding of the regional culture and literature of Hunan Province.[Method/process]This paper compares the Corpus of Hunan with other collections of articles,and explores its causes,contents and style features.[Result/conclusion]The compilation of the Corpus of Hunan not only originated from the unique academic environment of HuXiang region in the late Qing Dynasty,but also rooted in its compiler,Luo Ruhuai’s own literary accomplishment.It has the characteristics of both theme and innovation,which are reflected not only in the themes,genres,terms and other aspects of the works,but also in the overall arrangement of the anthologies synthesized from these aspects,involving the theme and connotation of the text,and the form,and style,etc.
