Development and Application of Speech Recognition System Based on English Translation

英语专业在教学实践过程中经常会遇到各种各样的困难,对英语教学效果形成不良影响,从而导致教学质量下降。针对我国过去长期以来英语专业教模式存在的弊端,我国高校合理利用现代信息科技的一切有利条件,为英语专业的学生建立具有现代化科技的教学模式,提出开发英语翻译语音识别系统。文章采用嵌入式语音识别技术作为核心技术,在硬件方面使用三星公司的控制器,ARM处理器核结构进行设计;在软件方面主要从语音收集与预处理模块、MFCC特征提取模块、DTW识别模块完成该系统设计;最后还从识别模块、声学模块、执行模块、以及翻译器使用注意的事项等方面对本系统综合应用进行探讨,从而促进英语课堂教学水平提高。

English majors often encounter a variety of difficulties in the practice of teaching,which adversely affects the effectiveness of English teaching and leads to a decline in teaching quality.Aiming at the shortcomings of the English professional teaching mode in the past in China,Chinese universities have reasonably used all the favorable conditions of modern information technology to establish a teaching mode with modern technology for English major students,and proposed the development of an English translation speech recognition system.The article uses embedded speech recognition technology as the core technology,and uses Samsung's controller and ARM processor core structure to design the hardware.In software,it is mainly completed by the voice collection and preprocessing module,MFCC feature extraction module,and DTW recognition module.The system is designed.Finally,the comprehensive application of the system is discussed from the aspects of identification module,acoustic module,execution module,and matters needing attention in using the translator,so as to promote the improvement of English classroom teaching.
