奈达翻译理论的跨际旅行与误读:“读者反应论”再思考

Cross-cultural Travel and Misinterpretation of Nida’s Translation Theory:Reflection of Receptor’s Response

奈达的“读者反应”一直被译界学者称为比较模式,即将“译文读者对译文的反应”与“原文读者对原文的反应”进行对比。对此,译界一直存有读者究竟有没有一致的反应,“读者反应”应该如何去衡量等争议。“读者反应”意义特殊,中国译界对其存有一些误读现象。因此,有必要再细读经典,对中国译界的误读现象作一个澄清,进而对“读者反应”作出合理的评价和解读。

Nida’s Receptor’s Response is widely regarded as Comparative Model in which the reaction from the target language readers is compared with the reaction from the source language readers,for which there has been existing controversy among translators and researchers.Here come the questions:whether there exists unanimous reaction between TL readers and SL readers;how the receptor’s reaction is evaluated.Considering Receptor's Response having unique and vital importance,it is necessary for us to scrutinize Nida's translation theory and clarify the misinterpretation,so as to make a reasonable assessment of Receptor’s Response.
