Transformer oil chromatographic online monitoring technology is an effective mean to realize early warnings of large oil-filled electric equipment’s faults such as converter transformer. With the summaries of its application in Ningxia power grid,some problems were pointed out. Judgment and analysis method of the technology and its management suggestions of the online monitoring device were proposed. Several cases of the transformer oil chromatographic online monitoring technology were discussed,which can provide positive guiding significance for further application of the technology in Ningxia power grid.
