公共图书馆举办老年大学推动老年教育发展的实践探研——以重庆图书馆老年大学为例

Research on University of the Third Age in Public Libraries to Advocate Lifelong Education:Taking the University of the Third Age in Chongqing Library as an Example

新时代背景下,老年人的精神文化和学习需求日益多元化,发展老年教育的任务更加紧迫。公共图书馆是社会教育的窗口,做好老龄群体文化教育服务工作,不仅是拓展和提升自身服务领域与水平的需要,也是公共图书馆推进老年教育发展的使命与责任。结合重庆图书馆主办老年大学的实践,提出公共图书馆发展老年大学的建设思路。

There is a great sense of urgency in developing lifelong education as the elder people are more eager to have their spiritual needs and learning demands met in the new era.As an institution that makes education more accessible to the public,libraries should do a better job in encouraging the elderly to take lifelong education.It is both an exciting opportunity for libraries to improve their services and a mission for them to advance lifelong education.Base on the practice of the university of the third age in Chongqing Library,the paper offers a blueprint for public libraries to build such universities.
