Charting the history of urban development of Yan’an and regional traditional buildings and history of the Mount Baota area,this paper considers problems facing urban growth to explore the harmonious relationship in formal creation between architecture and the environment in the design of Yan’an Baota Mountain Tourist Center in a unique indigenous context.
