An Analysis of Feminism in Indian Film from the Perspective of Feminism

近年来关于女性主义题材的电影开始频繁出现在印度。这与印度的女性社会地位低下及女性主义运动的发展现状有直接联系。以印度电影《印度合伙人》和《厕所英雄》为例,通过梳理女性意识的演变过程,从而探究印度电影中女性主义的出现及其特征。

In recent years,the films about feminism began to appear frequently in Indian films.This is directly related to the low so⁃cial status of women in India and the development of feminist movement.Taking the Indian films Pad Man and Toilet-Ek Prem Katha as examples,this paper explores the emergence and characteristics of feminism by combing the evolution of female consciousness in Indian women’s films.
