摘要
研究发现中国境内和邻区历史上的 8级大震其发生的时间间隔大多数为 2 5年和 2 5年的倍数。鉴于我国新疆和蒙古国西部大震按 2 5年作倍大多数落于 2 0 0 2～ 2 0 0 7年 ,所以我们认为蒙古国西部和新疆在今后 5年内可能会发生
through study we found that in history the reoccurrence interval of over M8.0 earthquakes in China and its adjacent area is 25years or its multiple.As the multiple of strong earthquakes occurred in Xinjiang autonomous region and west Mongolia were all fall into the interval of 2002-2007,so we believe that an over M8.0 earthquake will occur in the region in future 5 years.
