Eradicate the Bureaucracy in the Spirit of Self Revolution

形式主义和官僚主义是当前政治生态中的突出现象。从二者关系看,在一定意义上可以说,形式主义是官僚主义的表现形式,官僚主义是形式主义产生的根源。坚决杜绝形式主义,必须以勇于自我革命的精神破除官僚主义。官僚主义实质是封建残余思想作祟,根源是官本位思想严重、权力观扭曲,做官当老爷,高高在上,脱离群众,脱离实际。破除官僚主义必须坚持“两手抓”:一手抓思想政治建设,教育广大党员干部坚定理想信念,破除官僚主义的思想根基;一手抓民主监督制度建设,完善权力配置和运行制约机制,压减官僚主义的存在空间。

Formalism and bureaucracy are prominent phenomena in the current political ecology.From the perspective of their relationship,formalism is the manifestation of bureaucracy,which is the root of formalism in a certain sense.We must resolutely put an end to formalism and eliminate the bureaucracy in the spirit of self revolution.The essence of bureaucracy lies in the feudal residual thought,which is rooted in the serious thought of official standard and the distorted view of power.Being an official is a master,standing high above the people,and separating from the masses and reality.To eradicate the bureaucracy,we must adhere to the principle of“grasping both sides”:first,we must focus on ideological and political construction to educate Party members and cadres to strengthen their ideals and beliefs,and to break the ideological foundation of bureaucracy;second,we must focus on the construction of democratic supervision system,improve the power allocation and the operation restriction mechanism to reduce the existing space of bureaucracy.
