At 16:53 Beijing time on May 31, a LM-2 D launch vehicle soared up into space from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, successfully launching the Gaofen 9-02(GF-9-02) satellite and HEAD-4 into preset orbits.The DFH Satellite Co., Ltd under the China Academy of Space Technology was in charge of the development of the GF-9-02 satellite.
