A Reflection on the Pertinence of Graduate Enrollment Examination for Professional Master’s Degree

招生考试是专业学位硕士研究生培养的序章,是从生源角度保障专业学位硕士研究生教育质量的重要环节。目前专业学位硕士研究生招生考试不能有效契合人才培养目标的评价与选拔标准。培养单位应从源头进一步厘清专业学位硕士研究生教育的本质属性,提升考生认可度;守好招生考试中自主权和自律意识的边界,破解招生的"同一性"困境;彰显初试工作的专业学位教育特色,突破对学术学位教育的路径依赖;强化复试选拔效度,凸显培养单位专业学位硕士研究生教育的具体要求;构建开放式招生考试生态系统,提升专业学位硕士研究生教育招生考试的适切性。

Enrollment examination is a preface to professional degree graduates and an important link to ensure the quality of professional degree graduate education from the perspective of students.At present,the entrance examination of graduates for professional master degree cannot effectively satisfy the evaluation and selection criteria of talent training objectives.The writer of this article argues that training units should further clarify the essential attribute of the graduate education for professional master degree from the source,enhance the examinees recognition,safeguard the boundary of autonomy and self-discipline consciousness in the enrollment examination,and solve the dilemma of "identity" of enrollment;highlight the characteristics of professional degree education,break through the path dependence on academic degree education;strengthen the validity of re-examination selection,highlight the specific requirements of professional master education;construct open enrollment examination ecosystem and improve the pertinence of professional master’ s education enrollment examination.
